Can I convert a car with manual transmission?
Yes but do not hang a flywheel and clutch on the electric motor, the bearings are not designed for the weight at one end or the lateral loading of the flywheel when pushing on the clutch. Just spin the input/first motion shaft of the gearbox. Changing gear once underway isn’t necessary as the vehicle can come to a stop in any gear. Select second for town use and perhaps fourth for motorway. You can do away with the gearbox completely and use a single speed reduction unit and just spin the propshaft instead.
